A batting collapse and four run outs saw New Zealand restricted to 248. Communication seemed almost non-existent as the New Zealand players got the jitters and lost five wickets for just 27 runs between the 30th and 37th overs - three of those run outs after inexplicable miscommunication saw the wickets of first Daniel Vettori, who had been bumped up the order to five, then Luke Ronchi and Corey Anderson.
